Hello friends, and other not so friendly blogreaders,
First some standard lines:
Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. Some stuff happened. I saw some movies, listened to some music, bla, bla bla.
I had a great summer. I went to Castlefest, this Renaissancefair-ish thing with people dressing up and great music and everything. And… I went to Ireland! It was awesome. I want to go back there ASAP.
Still have a girlfriend, tomorrow is our three month anniversary. Coincedentally, that’s also Lumi’s birthday! So congratulations to us both!
Anyway, I’m in university now. Yeah. Studying English. SO. This is a good exercise or what?
I will post more when I have more to say. This was just a courtesy visit. LOL.

So I just had to reference back to this post for a bit, which I made back in the day this blog got started. I played wow for a few months, but got started on a different server with this character.

WB needs to post more. (Don’t you hate it when a blog says stuff like that? “I HAVEN’T POSTED IN A WHILE HURP DIE DURP.”, is way too common if you ask me)
The reason I’m posting is a little piece of blatant self-promotion:
ewoudvanloon.nl/. I kinda ‘rebooted’ the site. God know how long it’ll last this time, but I at least know I’m having fun making it.
Off-topic: playhaven.com.
The guy who owns the site mailed me and about 50 others, if I would give it a try. It’s a new videogame guide site, with a web 2.0 like idea. Since I’ve been making some guides at GameFAQs.com, and that was slightly problematic (it’s text only, and text files you upload can have only 79 characters per line). It got me a lot of fan mail, and I’m really glad I did the guide.
So I might post something for that in a while, because gamefags.com is getting stale.
P.S. You knew I wrote guides for (japanese versions of) video games right? I guess it’s only interesting if you actually play those games ^_^.

So today was a bit funny. Of course I overslept, but that’s besides the point. WizzardBurger (whom might be noted, is an ‘IRL’ friend of mine. but this is the internet, so I will be calling him by his online handle) and me where walking in town and we came across a bunch of ‘Buy and Trade’ stores. One in particular had our interest, because of it’s enormously low prices. A lot of useless things, a lot of things that, because of the price, you really want to really need to buy — at least that’s what you think at the moment. It’s really quite lucrative.
My dad had an expression for this; “It’s money that’s burning out of your wallet.”, so that’s what I think of the moment I think of buying well, shit.
Anyway, I’m losing my point a bit. So moving on; at the store, I saw a relatively new LP/Vinyl Player. So I’m putting my amplifier in my living room, and just shared my iTunes to be able to use it on my G4 (which is pretty much my media center).
Anyhow, next to the Buy and Trade store, was a record store. We saw a few bins for old Vinyl records, and started browsing them. After a while we noticed a whole bunch of bins with records for 1 euro. A goldmine it was!
And so we stumbled on a good amount of awesome records, from Supertramp to Bruce Willis (yeah, I didn’t know he made music at all either).

I am so confused
So I watched the ending to Neon Genesis Evangeleon a while ago. The poem you just read should give you a feeling of the ending of the series.) If you’ve seen it, you should especially know what I mean. I heard something along the lines of that “Everybody’s mind breaks the first time they watch the ending the first time”, and can say that this is definitely the case with me. I mean shit, my head went circles every 5 seconds.
Apparently Gainax (the studio producing NGE) does this more often than not. Wanna get your mind blown? Watch NGE.
Anyway, watching FLCL -Fooly Cooly- right now. Pretty interesting, haven’t seen anything like it. Kinda disturbing, but it a good way.
Also, avatars! At least, I do have one (the picture of Steve Jobs carrying some delicious kool-aid). The one for WizzardBurger isn’t done just yet.
Oh, oh! This makes me squeal like a little fan girl. Granted, it’s not in English yet. People who know the series should recognize the BGM somewhat. (I should post a bloody glossary sometime. Does this feel like alienating to you readers? Or are you smart enough to wiki everything you do not get?)
